Jackie Wayne Pryor

Jackie W. Pryor, 72 of Sebree, KY passed away Saturday November 4, 2023 at his home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

He was born in Providence, KY on September 16, 1951 to the late Jack Dempsey and Wilma Joyce (Brinkley) Pryor.

Jackie was retired from Hopkinsville Stone where he worked as a diesel mechanic. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and tinkering with old cars.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 brothers; James, Darrell and William “Billy” Pryor and a sister Susie Pryor.

He is survived by 3 children; Jason (Melisssa) Lawrie of Henderson, KY, Johnny (Melissa) Pryor of Sebree, KY, daughter Angela (Jonathan) Langston of Sebree, KY,

11 Grandchildren; Jason Lawrie, Matt Doepel, Jeffrey Lawrie, Heaven Lawrie, Brooke Pryor, Vadah Pryor, River Crowley, Austin Langston, Abby Langston, Ava Langston and Andrew Langston.

4 brothers; Larry (Dorothy) Pryor of Poole, KY, Dale Pryor, Roger (Carlene Dale) Pryor and Arnold (Judy) Pryor all of Sebree, KY. Sister in law, Jean Pryor of Slaughters, KY

Nieces and Nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday November 8th at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Brother Thornton Stanley will officiate.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY.

Visitation will be held Tuesday November 7th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be; Johnny Pryor, Ray Pryor, James Pryor, Arnold Pryor, Jonathan Langston, Roger Pryor and Larry Pryor.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
