Jacqueline Yvonne Hayes

Jacqueline Yvonne Hayes, 78 of Evansville, IN passed away Saturday January 2, 2016 at St. Marys Medical Center. She was born in McHenry, KY on January 5, 1937 to the late Virgil and Gracie (Warren) Stewart. She is a lifelong member of Henderson Church of Christ and was an active in International Lionism, a founding member of the Henderson Lioness Club. She loved her children and grandchildren, enjoyed cooking and gardening. Jacqueline retired from Whirlpool in 1999 after 30 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister; Margaret Steele, brother; Bruce Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 61 years; Jim Hayes 2 children; Jerri Hayes Bridges and husband William C. of Henderson, KY Jeff Hayes of Henderson, KY 1 Brother; Dwight Stewart of Beaver Dam, KY 2 Grandchildren; Matthew Bridges and wife Elizabeth of St. Louis, MO Kira Utley and husband Dr. David Utley of Haubstadt, IN Nieces and nephews Services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday January 7, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. David Salisbury and Gary Puryear will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, KY Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Deacons of Henderson Church of Christ will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to Henderson Church of Christ Building Fund
