James E Biggers

Henderson, KY** — James Edward Biggers, 66, of Henderson, passed away on August 9, 2024, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Born in Morganfield, James was the son of the late George Lee Biggers Sr. and Ella (Taylor) Biggers.

James dedicated his career to his roles as a Polisher and Buffer at Gamco and as a server at Pizza Hut. A devout Catholic, he found joy in woodworking, Bingo, and camping.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Biggers, George Lee Biggers Jr., and Betty Lou Biggers.

James is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Vickie (Sawyer) Biggers; his daughter, Erica Biggers; and his siblings, Emma Gentry, Tommy Biggers, Gail Griffin, Mary Biggers, and Roger Biggers. He is also remembered by his honorary daughters, Heather Hawthorne and Mary Skovira; five honorary grandchildren; and his cherished fur baby cat, Georgia.

A memorial service to honor James's life will be held at a later date.
