James L. Goben

James L. Goben, 84, of Henderson, KY passed away Monday, December 3, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson. Mr. Goben was born August 2, 1934 in Union County to the late James and Katie Goben. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother Tom Goben; first wife, Shirley Goben and granddaughter, Veronica Goben. Mr. Goben is survived by his wife Annie Goben; two sons, Mike Goben of Union County, Sam Goben of Evansville, IN; one daughter, Trisha Basham of Evansville, IN; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 12:00 PM, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Dennis Mayfield to officiate.  Burial will follow with Military Rites at Pythian Ridge Cemetery, Sturges, KY.  Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018 and Thursday, December 6, 2018 9:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be:  James Goben, Travis Byrd, Jeremey Gardner, Carl McLevain, Tim McLevain, Gary McLevain, Dustin McLevain and David McLevain. Honorary pallbearers will be Lilly, Brittany and Caden.
