James "Jim" Henry Rutledge

James “Jim” Henry Rutledge, 88 of Henderson passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Deaconess Henderson surrounded by his family. He was born March 8, 1934, in Henderson KY to the late Posey and Lola Mae Rutledge. Jim was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and an avid UK fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gerald Sue “Gerry” Rutledge; daughter, Teresa Vanover; son, James Michael Rutledge. Jim is survived by his son-in-law, David Vanover; five grandchildren, Chasity Blakeley, Tiffany Rolley, Ashley Wolfe, Dustin Rutledge and Myka Givens; 9 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday June 4, 2022 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Mark Moog officiating. Visitation will be Friday 4-7PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kaleb Gregory, Jacob Gregory, David Blakeley, Haydon Wolfe, Orrin Givens and Dustin Rutledge. Honorary pallbearers will be Kaitlyn Rolley, Chloe Rolley, Kobie Rolley, Gavin Wolfe, Hartley Wolfe, Waylon Givens and Chance Givens.
