James "Jimbo" Clark

February 15, 1960 — May 13, 2026

James "Jimbo" Clark, passed away peacefully at his home on May 13, 2026. Born on February 15, 1960, in Nashville, Tennessee, Jimbo's journey through life was marked by dedication, warmth, and an unyielding love for those closest to him.

As Vice President at Ohio Valley Marine Services and Customer Service Manager at Evansville Marine Services, Jimbo exemplified professionalism and integrity. His commitment to excellence was mirrored not only in his career but in the way he approached every aspect of life-with a steady hand and an open heart.

Jimbo attended Zion Baptist Church, where his faith served as a cornerstone, providing strength and solace throughout his life. Beyond his professional and spiritual life, Jimbo was a man of many passions. He found joy in the game of golf, traveling, the tranquility of gardening, and the exhilaration of sports especially coaching baseball. Yet, it was in the quiet moments with his family that he was truly at peace. The laughter shared, the stories told, the simple happiness of presence-these were the treasures he cherished most deeply. His love extended to his faithful dogs, companions who enjoyed the same warmth and affection.

Jimbo is survived by his beloved wife, Denise Clark, two children: Jackson Clark of Lexington, KY, and Jordan Clark of Evansville, two step-children, Thane LaCaze and his wife Hannah of Henderson, and Taylor Douglas and his wife Sarah of Henderson, two sisters, Judy Branson and Jan Hays and husband Claude, both of Henderson. His life blossomed further through seven grandchildren-Lilly, Tripp, Hayden, Baylor, Spencer, Jaxon, and Sophie-whose presence brought him immense pride and happiness. He was also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Jimbo was preceded in death by his devoted parents, Garland "GB" Clark and Virginia (Foster) Clark.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Propeller Club of Evansville.
