James Herbert Littrel

James Herbert Littrel, 84 of Henderson passed away February 8, 2018.  He was born June 9, 1933 in Sebree to Morris Littrel, Sr. and Bertie (Cates) Littrel.     James was a member of Bennett Memorial UMC for over 50 years and a Kentucky colonel. He was a teamster with  Local #215 and a member of the Travelers Protective Association.     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Carolyn Sue Littrel in 1989, son; James A. “Jimmy” Littrel.He is survived by his special friend; Margie A. Witt of Henderson, 2 children; Jennifer Sue (Littrel) Gish of Henderson, Robert Jason Littrel of Henderson, 1 sister; Joyce Riley of Henderson, 4 brothers; Morris Littrel, Jr of Henderson, Hugh David Littrel, Bobby Wayne Littrel of Henderson and Larry Gene Littrel of Atlanta, GA, 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.     Funeral services will be Tuesday, 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson.  Visitation will be Monday, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM and Tuesday, 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Larry Littrel, Bobby Littrel, Ralph Riley, Justin Littrel, Hunter Gish, Daniel Brane and Ross Ferguson.Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Online condolences may be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com.
