James Edward "Jim" Mcgan

James Edward “Jim” McGan, 77, of Henderson passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at St. Anthony’s Hospice Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Evansville on March 9, 1945 to the late James and Louise (Graves) McGan. Jim was an ASE Master Mechanic who enjoyed working on cars and trucks as a hobby as well. He was a hummingbird enthusiast and a knife collector who loved attending knife shows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 siblings Mary Ann McGan, William T. McGan, Rosie Lee Fulkerson and brother-in-law Craig Jones. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Janis McGan; one son Kelly McGan (Kara) of Henderson; 2 daughters Kristy Vargas (Joshua) of Henderson, Kimberly Jaramillo (Joseph) of Boise, Idaho; nine grandchildren Kevin McGan, Kayla McGan, Alexandra McGan, Amie McGan, Aaron Griffin, Autumn Griffin, Andrew Griffin, Josiah Jaramillo, Judah Jaramillo; sister-in-law Freda Jones of Henderson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services will be held at a later date. Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel is handling arrangements.
