James Francis Mitchell II, 69, of Reed passed away at 10:06 AM Friday March 8, 2013 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. He owned and operated Mitchell’s Grocery in Reed from 1987 to 2004. He was preceded in death by his mother Opal (Minton) Nelson and wife Janie Walker Mitchell. He is survived by his father Walter Mitchell of Centertown, KY 6 Children: Janice Bowman of Evansville Janet Carmickle of Evansville Ronnie Walker of Chandler, IN Jerry Murry of Evansville Christy McDaniel of Reed James F Mitchell III of Reed 1 Sister: Debbie Frye of Bowling Green, KY 1 Brother: Alton Mitchell of Beaver Dam, KY 12 Grandchildren 18 Great-grandchildren 2 Great-great-grandchildren Niece and Nephews Memorial services will be held at a later date.
