James Thomas Pharris

James Thomas Pharris, 82, of Sebree, passed away Saturday December 23, 2017 at Redbanks Colonial Terrace.  He was born in Olatan, Kentucky on August 28, 1935 to the late Tilfard and Lawrence (Burden) Pharris.  He was retired from Hons Co.in Owensboro and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Hanson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Naomi Sue Pharris, son Keith Wayne Pharris, 4 sisters, 2 brothers and 1 grandson Matthew David Sizemore.  Survivors include 4 step-children: Beth Sizemore and husband J.R. of Madisonville, Danny Spears and husband Richard Loftstrand of Canton, Georgia, Chuck Lambdin of Madisonville, Sherry Davenport of Madisonville, 1 brother Charles Henry Pharris of Slaughters, 1 sister Margie Hicks of Texas, 3 grandchildren Marc Sizemore and wife Valerie of Visalia, California, Ryan Sizemore and wife Julia of Madisonville, Ross Sizemore and wife Amanda of Madisonville, 6 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday December 28, 2017 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.  Bro. Lawrence Richardson will officiate with Bro. Nobel Denton assisting.  Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday 4-7PM and Thursday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Pallbearers will be Ross Sizemore, Ryan Sizemore, Stephen Ruby, Ray Jones, Doug Seaton and Chuck Lambdin.  The honorary pallbearer will be Terry Gregory.
