James Raymond Pippin Sr., 61, of Corydon, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Born on March 17, 1963, in Henderson, Kentucky, James lived a life full of love for his family and simple joys.
He was baptized in his youth at 1st Assembly of God Church in Henderson, a foundation that carried him throughout his life. James was known for his passion for fishing and his devotion to his beloved dog, Baby. Above all, he cherished his time with his family and grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life.
James was preceded in death by his infant children, Ashley and Kevin Pippin. He is survived by his children, Mandi Pippin and JJ Pippin; his mother, Jeannie Easterday (Larry); his father, Ray Pippin (Cheryl); his brother, Timothy Pippin (Stephanie); and his cherished grandchildren: Landon Parker, Keylon Parker, Kaleeah Parker, Cadice Pippin, and Ashley Pippin.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024, at Chapel Hill Church, officiated by Rev. Rick Nollman. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the service.
