James W. Pirtle

James William Pirtle, 82 of Henderson passed away November 26, 2021, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. James was born in Henderson County to the late Robert L. and Rosa Bell (Spicer) Pirtle. He was a farmer and had worked for the road department. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his son Timmy Pirtle; his siblings Mary Floyd, Gene Helmick, Robert L. Pirtle Jr., Daniel Pirtle and Louis Greenwell.James is survived by his children James Pirtle Jr. (Companion Connie Baity), Tommy Pirtle (Companion Theresa Pirtle) and Randy Pirtle (Donna); siblings Lucille Burns and Raymond Pirtle; 8 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday November 30, 2021, at Tomblinson Funeral Home Funeral Home in Henderson with Bro. Jeff Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Pallbearers will be Randy Pirtle Jr., Robert Pirtle, William Donahue, Nathaniel Pirtle, Derrick Fambrough and Ben Pirtle.
