James Leroy Scott

James Leroy Scott, 61 of Henderson, KY passed away on Saturday May 17, 2025 at his residence under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

He was born in Evansville, IN on November 22, 1963 to the late Billy Wayne and Zonia Belle (Riley) Scott.

James had worked at Vincent Industrial Plastics in Henderson until their closing. He was an Army National Guard Veteran, loved to fish, watch baseball and basketball but most of all spend time with his kids and grandkids.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Anthony and Marion Scott.

He is survived by 2 children; Tasha (Jaime) Apolinar of Sebree, KY, Joshua (Jane) Scott of Henderson, KY. 2 sisters; Rhonda Elrod of Evansville, IN and Cynthia Berrong of Henderson, KY. Great friend and former wife; Tammy Buchanan of Henderson, KY. 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and nieces and nephews also survive.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday May 21st at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.

Bro Bob Hardison will officiate.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until Service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
