James "Jimmy" Southard

James “Jimmy” Southard, 68, of Corydon passed away Saturday June 22, 2013 at Lucy Smith King Care Center. He was born in Meadeville, Pennsylvania to J. T. Southard and Virginia Southard on October 8, 1944. He was a lifetime farmer in Henderson County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Judy Mae Southard. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Brenda Southard 2 Children: Jodie Hawley and husband Rich of Henderson Timothy Southard and wife Joda of Corydon 2 Sisters: Brenda Crawford Lori Ausenbaugh 4 Brothers: Terry Southard Sammy Southard Johnny Southard Danny Joe Southard 3 grandchildren: Shanda Dixon, Kyle Southard and Richie Hawley 3 great-grandchildren: Kynli Dixon, Audrey Dixon and Brooklyn Dixon Nieces and Nephews Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday June 26, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. D. T. Fulkerson will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-8PM and Wednesday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice or Shriner’s Burn Institute of Cincinnati, OH Pallbearers will be Terry Southard, Sammy Southard, Johnny Southard, Danny Joe Southard, Clarence Mays and Kenny Tegethoff. Honorary pallbearers will be Kyle Southard, Richie Hawley and Jonathan Dixon.
