James Gilbert Vowles, Ii

James Gilbert Vowles, II passed away 6:00 AM Friday November 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 15, 1941 in Evansville, IN to James Gilbert and Avalon Marie (Mentzel) Vowles. He was an U. S. Army Veteran and received the bronze star while serving in Vietnam. He was a member of 7th Day Adventist Church where he was the treasurer for 25 years. He attended the Gathering Place. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and one daughter. He is survived by his wife of 41 years Dora Vowles 1 daughter: Vicki Stephens of Evansville 2 brothers: Larry Vowles of Tell City, IN David Vowles of Evansville 6 grandchildren 1 great grandchild Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 22 at 7th Day Adventist Church in Henderson.
