James Howard Walker

James Howard “Doball” Walker, Jr., 51, passed away Sunday November 6, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was born June 28, 1960, in Henderson, KY to James Howard and Norma Jean (Walters) Walker, Sr. He was a member of Countryview General Baptist Church in Henderson, a concrete construction worker for J &W Construction for several years, loved to cook and tell stories. He was preceded in death by his father: James Howard Walker, Sr. He is survived by his wife Rebecca Lynn (Duncan) Walker of Henderson, Ky His mother Norma Walker of Henderson, KY A daughter Missie and her husband Matt Vinson of Henderson, KY A son Christopher Andrew and his wife Danielle Walker of Henderson, KY 2 grandchildren: Jessica and Andrew James Walker 2 sisters: Kim Massengill of New Haven, KY Penny Tackett of New Haven, KY Mother-in-Law and Father-in Law James and Phyllis Duncan, of Henderson, KY Several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday November 10, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Bro. Gerald Ashby officiating. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery in Henderson. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday November 9, 2011 and 9-until service time Thursday November10, 2011 at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Christopher Walker, Matthew Vinson, Timothy Croft, Jeffrey Walker, Larry Massengill, Robert Massengill, Dalvis Stewart, and D. J. Nunnelly.
