Jane Christine Melton

Jane Christine (Love) Melton, 83 of Evansville, IN passed away Tuesday March 2, 2010 at St. Mary Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born February 15, 1927 in Hopkins Co., KY to Roosevelt and Lola Mae (Daniels) Love. She was retired from Cook’s Furniture. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary # 2953 in Evansville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Melton, son Jaroy Melton, brother R. V. Love and sister Loretta Quinn. She is survived by her caregiver Jan Ipock of Hanson, KY. 3 sisters: Margaline Dame of Madisonville, KY Vernon Pillows of San Antonio, TX Annetta Evans of Ashbyburg, KY Several nieces and nephews. Rev. Maurice Melton will officiate. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Saturday March 6 at Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Friends and family will meet at the cemetery for the service. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 PM Friday March 5 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.
