Janet Lucille (McCarty) Tapp, 70, of Sebree passed away Friday March 6, 2015 at Baptist Health in Madisonville. She retired from GE and was a member of Sebree First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Thelma Lucille (Harmon) McCarty, husband Stanley Wayne Tapp, 2 brothers James Frasier McCarty and Roger Dale McCarty and 1 sister Barbara Joan McCarty. Survivors include 3 children: Timmy Tapp (Paula) of Robards, Kentucky Cathy Bullock (Trent) of Henderson, Kentucky Scotty Tapp (Amy) of Dixon, Kentucky 4 sisters: Betty Austin of Madisonville Judy Shaw of Maryland Bonnie Gallagher of North Carolina Connie Hunt of Texas 1 Brother: Terry McCarty of Madisonville 1 brother-in-law: Hugh Tapp of Clarksville, TN 8 Grandchildren: Heather Dimmit, Jesse Tapp, Kendal Eaves, Hannah Bullock, Gracie Bullock, Gavin Tapp, Megan Tapp and Garrett Tapp 4 Great-grandchildren: Brooklyn Dimmit, Hunter Dimmit, Oakleigh Eaves and Aubree Tapp Services will be 1:00 PM Monday March 9, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-6PM and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Timmy Tapp, Scotty Tapp, Trent Bullock, Gavin Tapp, Garrett Tapp and Jesse Tapp
