Janice Parks

February 5, 1937 — April 1, 2026

Janice Parks, 89, of Henderson, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at Redbanks Colonial Terrace with her family by her side.

Janice was born in Sturgis, Kentucky, to the late Osborne and Myrtle (Duckworth) Fowler. She was as a bookkeeper and an avid member of Zion Baptist Church.

Janice enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, floating in her pool, and most of all spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Parks.

She is survived by her children, Vivian Taylor (James) and Michael Parks (Michelle); her brother, Osborne Fowler Jr. (Barbara); her grandchildren, Natalie Reynolds (Matt), Laura Scott, Seth Taylor (Lea), and Tyler Beeler; her eight great-granddaughters, who affectionately called her "Boo"; and her nephew, Matt Fowler.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with Brother Rick O'Daniel officiating. Private graveside services will be held after the service.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
