J.D. Pemberton

J.D. Pemberton, 92, of Henderson, went to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born on May 1, 1928 to the late Henry and Johnnie Pemberton. He was a retired carpenter and attended New Hope Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Perkins Pemberton; daughter, Nada Greasby; sister, Virginia McLaughlin; and brother, Marshall Ray Pemberton. He is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Kelly; sister-in-law, Doris Pemberton; three nieces, three nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29 at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel with Brother Gary Shoulders. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Corydon Cemetery.
