Jeanette (Darr) Thomasson

Jeanette (Darr) Thomasson, 93, of Onton, passed away Tuesday January 8, 2019 at her home under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice. She was born in Union County, Kentucky on March 18, 1925 to the late Charles and Eula (Dossett) Darr.  Jeanette was a member of Onton United Methodist Church and also enjoyed quilting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Emerson Thomasson, 4 brothers and 1 sister.Survivors include 1 son Mike Thomasson and wife Tonia of Onton, 2 grandchildren Ross Thomasson and wife Lori of Nortonville, Kentucky, Steve Wiley and wife Lisa of Vassar, Kansas, 6 great-grandchildren Noah Thomasson, Brittni Tichenor, Cory Wiley, Olivia Wiley, Chyanne Wiley, Coleman Wiley, 2 great-great-grandchildren Preston Wiley, Bailey Tichenor and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel.  Rev. Thornton Stanley will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
