Jerry Harper

Jerry Harper, 57, of Hebbardsville passed away Wednesday December 7, 2011. He was born July 21, 1954 in Joilet, IL to Fred Cordell and Helen (Smith) Harper. He was a truck driver for Belmont Moving and Freight in Evansville, IN. He was a drag racer, hunter, a fisherman, loving husband, daddy, papaw, and friend. He also loved his Harley and traveling. His laughter made the world a better place. He lived life to its fullest and nothing made him happier than to be surrounded by those he loved. He was preceded in death by his father Fred Cordell Harper. He is survived by his wife Lori Harper of Hebbardsville, KY His mother Helen Harper of Hebbardsville, KY A daughter Nicole Butler and her husband Brad of Hebbardsville, KY A son Cory Harper and his wife Lindsey, of Henderson, KY And loving grandchildren Noah Butler, Payton Butler, Avery Harper and Riley Harper A stepson Justin Oates, of Dixon Ky 3 sisters Alena Harper of Hebbardsville, KY Brenda Stone and her husband Allan of Henderson, KY and Patty Wolfe and her husband Ronnie of Henderson, KY and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1:00 Tuesday December 13, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel with Bro. Dan Book officiating. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery in Hebbardsville, KY Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 PM Monday December 12 and 11:00 AM-until service time Tuesday December 13 at the funeral home. Pall bearers will be Brad Butler, Paul Spencer, Lance Kightley, Mark Mandel, Doug Lane, Tony Willett, Paul Snyder, Eddie Maddux, Noah Butler, Brad Beard, Frank Carden, Kevin Brantley, and Travis Byrd.
