Jerry Wayne Means, 56, of Hanson passed away Thursday June 28, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. He was born in Hammond, Indiana January 22, 1956 to Martin and Josephine (Mercer) Means. He was a welder with Superior Metals in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by his father Martin Means. He is survived by his wife Sheila (Cooper) Means of Hanson, KY His mother Josephine (Mercer) Means of Cunningham, KY 2 sons: Jeff and his wife Michelle Means of Evansville, IN David and his wife Jennifer Means of Cunningham, KY 2 daughters: Stephanie and her husband Nathan Meredith of Poole, KY Jolena and her husband Donnie King of Sebree, KY 1 brother Dennis Means of Sebree, KY 1 sister Marsha Burnett of Cunningham, KY 6 grandchildren and nieces and nephews Services will be 11:00 AM Monday July 2 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Sunday July 1, 2012 and 9-11 AM Monday July 2, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Onton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eugene Burnett, Darren Burnett, Justin Shofner, Jeff Shofner, Jr., Jeff Shofner, Sr., James Means, Jeremy Means, and Lee Meredith. Memorial contributions may be made to the Onton Cemetery Fund.
