Jesse James Green of Nortonville, KY age 80 died at 7:07 PM Monday January 11, 2010 at his home. He was born July 10, 1929 in Cadiz, KY to Jesse C. and Ida Mae (Robertson) Green. He served in the U. S. Army during the Korean War and worked as a line partolman for the Kentucky Utilities in Earlington, KY. He was a member of the Greater Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Madisonville, KY. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters. His is survived by his wife Genella Mae (Walls) Green of Nortonville, KY Two sons: James Darrell Green of Hopkinsville, KY Monty Lewis Green of Earlington, KY One daughter: Nancy Loretta Adams of Madisonville, KY One sister: Lucy McCay of White Plains, KY 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be at 1:00 PM Thursday January 14, 2010 at Reid-Walters Funeral Home in Earlington, KY with Rev. Mac Walls officiating. Burial will be in New Suthards Cemetery in Suthards, KY. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday January 13 and 9:00 AM until service time Thursday. Pallbearer will be Robert Green, Chalon Hayes, Josh Green, Chad Reynolds, Glenn Hicks and Jeff Walls. Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Adams and Tim McNeily.
