Jesse Anderson “J.A.” Tapp, 85 of Sebree passed away Monday March 7, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He was a lifelong farmer, a member and a former elder at Poole Church of Christ, served on the Webster County Farm Bureau Board, was a Kentucky Colonel, and was involved in the community. He was born November 13, 1925 in Union County, KY to Milton and Tena (Duncan) Tapp. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Norma (Newton) Tapp, a son Greg Tapp, a sister Mary Inez Odom, and a brother Earl Garvin Tapp. He is survived by 1 son: Keith Tapp of Sebree, KY 2 daughters: Cindy (Jerry) Brown of Sebree, KY Joann Tapp of Nashville, TN Daughter-in-law; Kristine Tapp of Sebree, KY 8 grandchildren: Shane (Sheila) Brown, Shawn (Sarah) Brown, Jeremy Brown, Kelby Tapp, Cassie (Grant) Orr, Kaleb (Heather) Tapp, Jesse (Kellye) Tapp, Katherine (Don) Ferguson , 7 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday March 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel wit Bro Gary Puryear and Bro. Bill Doyle officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be Thursday March 10, 2011 from 1:00-8:00 P.M. and Friday March 11, 2011 from 8:00-11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Potter’s Childrens Home, 2350 Nashville Rd., Bowling Green, KY 42101-4098, or to St. Anthony’s Hospice.
