Jimmy Ray Bell, 77 of Sebree, KY passed away on Monday December 23, 2024 at his home.
He was born in Evansville, IN on March 12, 1947 to the late Carroll Thomas and Frances (Melton) Bell.
He was a Pharmacist and owned and operated Bell’s Drug Store in Sebree from 1972 at the death of his father until his retirement in 2012. He was a 1965 graduate of Webster County High School, and attended Henderson Community College and the graduated from Samford University Birmingham, AL in 1971. Jimmy was a member of Sebree First Baptist Church where he was an active member of his Sunday School Class, Bailey – Onton Masonic Lodge, and was a member of the Rizpah Shriners in Madisonville. He was also a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity at Samford University.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Rhonda Gail (Parker) Bell on June 5, 2010.
Jimmy is survived by his wife Robilee (Brown) Bell, 3 children; Emily Ann (Bell) Daulton and husband Eric, Thomas Ray Bell and Sarah Frances (Bell) Fuqua and husband Joshua. 2 step children; Felice Salmon and husband Thad and Brooke Gengler and husband David. 7 grandchildren; Audrey Daulton, Kendell Daulton, Parker Fuqua, Leland Fuqua, Levi Salmon, Eva Salmon and Amos Salmon.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday December 28, 2024 at Sebree First Baptist Church. Brother Dylan Zahn and Dr. Bob Hardison will officiate.
Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree.
Visitation will be held on Friday December 27, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Sebree First Baptist Church and Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the Sebree First Baptist Church.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Friday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sebree First Baptist Church.
