Joann Dolin Waddell

Joann Dolin Waddell, 86 of Henderson passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

She was born in Henderson, KY on October 29, 1938, to the late Eldridge and Katherine Dolin.

Joann had worked at Audubon Hosiery Mill. She enjoyed fishing, baking, and sewing, especially making quilts that she lovingly shared with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kathy Dolin; brothers, Tommy and Eldridge Dolin; grandson, Devin Waddell.

She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Waddell; two sons, Randy Waddell (Karen) and Chuck Waddell; one sister, Mary Lou Williams (Jerry); brother, Bobby Dolin; two granddaughters, Kara Nicole Waddell and Taylor Marie Waddell; great grandson, Keltin Tyler Hancock.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with burial in Fairmont Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday, 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
