John Franklin Coley, Jr. 64 of Henderson passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 11:57 AM at Lucy Smith King Care Center.He was born in Henderson on November 6, 1951 to John Franklin Sr. and Madie Ann (Guill) Coley.John retired from Meade-Johnson in 2014 as a security officer and was a member of the United Church of the Nazarene. He was a US Army Veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion and a Kentucky Colonel. John loved woodworking and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Debra Kay and Vicki Ann Carter. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Henrietta Coley 1 daughter: Misti Dawn Burns and husband Robbie of Owensboro. 1 son: John Franklin Coley III and wife Trixie of Ardmore, Alabama. 1 sister: Sherie Tomlingson and husband Troy of Robards. 2 brothers: Michael Coley and wife Denise of Virginia and Otha Coley of Lousiville. 8 grandchildren: Uriah, Savannah, Austin, Sydney, Kristi, Kim, Brad, and Hannah. 1 great granchild: Mia Several nieces and nephews. Henrietta's family.Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel.Rev. Keith Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with full military rites conducted by Ft. Campbell Military Honors Team. Visitation will be Friday 4-7 PM, and Saturday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.Pallbearers will be John F. Coley III, Chad Tomlingson, Troy Perry, Michael Coley, Wayne Horlander, and Ahren Horlander.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to United Church of the Nazarene or St. Anthony's Hospice.
