John Robert Degeralomo

John Robert DeGeralomo, 72, passed away in his home June 20, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. John was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on July 16, 1952. After graduating high school, John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp in 1972. While serving John met his wife Shelley and they married on May 12, 1978. Together they raised three daughters, Shelice, Jennifer and Kitrina, nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

John was a machinist by trade, but his talents were in painting and working with his hands. Late in life his love was fishing and telling jokes. He gave up smoking after 55+ years and beat lung cancer.

He is survived by his three daughters Shelice Lennon (Colby), Jennifer Lopez (Fernando) and Kitrina Kanizar (Joe), nine grandchildren and one special great granddaughter.

Mom (Shelley) and Dad (John) DeGeralomo are now joined eternally.
