John O Epley

John O. Epley John O. Epley, 59 of Hanson died on Monday, May 12, 2014 at his home. He was born on December 18, 1954 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Len B. Epley and Frances Harrelson Epley. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Diane Epley Reynolds and one brother, Richard Epley. He is survived by his wife, Shelly Epley of Hanson, one brother, Jimmy (Linda) Epley, and one sister, Janice Looney. Five step children, Amanda Erickson, Amber Schipper, Ricky Schipper, Tony Johnson, and Eric Johnson. One nephew, Tommy Reynolds and two nieces Debra Benard and Robin McHenry. Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 14th, 2014 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Slaughters-Hanson Chapel. Brother Gary Taylor will be officiating. Burial will be at Hanson City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Sam Todd, Tony Johnson, Eric Johnson, Tommy Reynolds, Randy Gentry, and Conner Benard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Epley Memorial. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
