John Lambdin, Jr.

John Lambdin, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, formerly of Sebree, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018. John was born on November 30, 1927 in Sebree, Kentucky to the late John and Gladys Lambdin.  He was preceded in death by his son, Steve Lambdin, one sister, Anna Ruth West, and one brother, Maurice Lambdin. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Delores Quinn Lambdin, daughters Debby Owen (Monty) and Candy Wethington (Don), granddaughters Monta Owen Keown and Kelli Wethington, brother Dale Lambdin and several nieces. John worked for the CSX Railroad, formerly the L&N Railroad, for 42 years.  He was a member of the Bailey-Onton Masonic Lodge #538 for 67 years. After retirement, he was an avid collector of railroad memorabilia. Visitation will be Saturday, February 10 from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM with Masonic services conducted by Bailey Onton Lodge #538 at 6:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Sebree, Kentucky.  His funeral service will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday followed with interment at The Onton Cemetery, Onton, Kentucky.  Online condolences may be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com.
