John Wayne Miller

John Wayne Miller, 70 of Henderson passed away February 19, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway.He was born December 21, 1948 in Hopkins County to the late John Henry and Ezma T. Miller. John was a member of Haven Pentecostal Church.  John loved going to church and listening to music. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Miller and one sister, Betty Foltz. He is survived by his five siblings, John Henry Miller Jr. (Peggy), Patricia Powell Kenneth), Hallie Williams (Anthony), Anthony Miller (Ann)and Melissa Carver (Roy), several nieces and nephews. Services will be Friday, 1:00 PM at Haven Pentecostal.  Visitation will be Friday, 11:00 AM until service time at the church. Rev. Jonathan Powell, Pastor Phil Wagoner.  The committal service at the cemetery will be conducted by Rev. Vernon Rigsby. Burial will be Bethel Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Isaiah Powell, Jeremy Carver, Greg Carver, Kendall Powell, Kenny Powell and Malachi Powell. Honorary pallbearers will be Jayson Carver and Noah Powell. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Heart Association.
