John M Romanello

John M. Romanello, 77 of Slaughters passed away on Sunday, April 27th at Brighton Cornerstone Healthcare.

John was born on October 27, 1947 in Hinton, West Virginia to the late Gene and Dorothy Romanello. He was retired from Atlantis Plastics and Speed Queen.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Romanello, sisters, Nelly Blackburn, Theda Harris, and Margaret Frye, brothers, Charles Romanello and Jimmy Romanello. Also, stepson, Jimmy Goff and stepdaughter, Janie Brown.

John is survived by his sister Ella(Mark) Pauley, granddaughters, Jennifer (Brandon) Clark, Barbara Goff, Leslie (Jeremy) Brown, Katie Scott, Glenda Pipin, Samantha Darmath. Grandson, Logan (Amber) Goff, daughter in law, Cindy Goff and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Slaughters Baptist Church with Bro. Len Young officiating.  Burial will follow at Onton Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM until service time at the church.
