Johnnie Waulene (Goggans, Crockett) Simons

Johnnie Waulene (Goggans, Crockett) Simons, 92, of Henderson, KY passed away at 4:20 PM on Friday March 12, 2021 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN.  Johnnie was born on October 22, 1928 in Hackleburg, AL to the late John and Lottie (Barnwell) Goggans.  She was a faithful member of 12th and Green St. Church of Christ.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Junior Crockett, 2nd husband Bud Simons, 3 sisters Frances Faver, Azalee Whitworth and Carolyn Traylor.  She is survived by her son David Crockett (Vicki) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren Jason Crockett (Jenna) of Campbellsville, KY, Jamie (Kim) Crockett of Prattville, AL, Jenni Brenner (Jimmy) of Mt. Vernon, IN and Arnel Clary (Willow) of Evansville, IN; 14 great-grandchildren, Braiden Crockett, Tyler Crockett, Bryce Crockett, Dylan Crockett, Ellie Crockett, Gavin Crockett, Zane Crockett, Edy Crockett, Trevan Bell, Taycee Bell, Teleigh Guth, Riley Jones, Kinley Clary and Tennyson Clary; nieces, nephews and brother-in-law Wayne Traylor.  Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Minister David Salisbury officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.  Friends and family may visit Saturday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Linda E.
