Johnny Young Tapp

Johnny Young “Sonny” Tapp, 51 of Morganfield passed away at 7:12 PM Monday, June 20th, 2011 at St. Mary’s Hospital. He was born April 3rd, 1960 in Henderson County and was a mechanic at PBS Chemical. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilbert and Cova Tapp and one sister Tanna Browning. Survivors include his wife, Sandra “Sam” Tapp, mother, Marilyn Jane Stoutenber, and one sister, Tammy Neblett. Four sons, Kevin, Kory, Derek, and Joshua Tapp. Two daughters, Stephanie Dorman and Tammy Durham. Nineteen (19) grandchildren: Ryan, Linzy, Kalyn, Karley, Kaleb, Mercede, Megan, Ethan, Hayden, Issac, Johatha, Brian, Dylan, Ty, Emma, David, Savannah, Avery, Freedom. Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 23rd at Tomblinson Funeral Home Sebree Chapel. Visitation will be 4-8PM Wednesday, June 22nd and 9-11AM Thursday, June 23rd at the funeral home. Sandra Tapp will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tori Moore, Lisa Travers, Gigi Bryant, Elizabeth Eastwood, Tammy Neblett, and Kimberlee Barre.
