Jon Robert Holloman

Hanson, Kentucky – Jon Robert Holloman, 78, died May 15th at Baptist Health Hospital, Madisonville. He was born November 2, 1935, Hanson, the son of Harry O. and Nell Craig Holloman. He married Reva Coomes on August 28, 1954. Jon retired from CSX Railroad. Jon was one of the three original founding members of Hanson Hunter Field. Among his survivors are a daughter, Patti (Kevin) French of Nashville; two sons, Dr. Jon (Elizabeth) Holloman, Jr. of Madisonville and Russell (Letitia) Holloman, Hanson; one sister, Nueva Oldham, Bedford, IN.; five grandsons, US Army Captain Jordan (Kyla) Glover, Heath, Houston and Craig Holloman, Wesley French and granddaughters, Kristy (Justin) Roll, and Kaitlyn Holloman, great granddaughter Gwen Glover. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hanson Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be Saturday, 5 PM till 8 PM with visitation Sunday from 12 PM until funeral at 2 PM funeral on at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Slaughters-Hanson Chapel.
