Joshua "Josh" Keith Freeland

Joshua Keith Josh Freeland, 34, of Owensboro passed away Sunday August 28, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Henderson on August 13, 1982 to Keith Freeland and Jessica (Smith) Long. Josh was a maintenance technician at Owensboro Medical Practice. He attended Dayspring Church of God Prophecy and had a profound faith in God. Josh was a loving man who was admired by all of his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother Wanda Freeland. Survivors include his mother and step-father Jessica and Daniel Long of Owensboro, father Keith Freeland of Henderson, maternal grandparents Jesse and Beverly Smith of Henderson, paternal grandfather Luster Freeland of Henderson, 2 sisters Amber Freeland Caldwell and husband Bryan of Owensboro, Elizabeth Long Henady and husband Sean of Lafayette, Indiana, 3 brothers David Long of Tampa, Florida, Riley Long and fianc Rachel Bruce of Orlando, Florida, Corbin Long and wife Jamie of Hopkinsville, Nieces and nephews Jase, Jaydon and Bryanna Caldwell, Camden and Hayden Long as well as other extended family. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday September 2, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Bro. Don Johnston will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday 4-8PM and Friday 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bryan Caldwell, Jarrod Beck, Chad Cavanah, Joe McBride, Danny Moore, Tim Hoggard, Tony Peckenpaugh and Shane Mays. Honorary pallbearers will be Jace and Jaydon Caldwell.
