Josiah "Turbo" Malachi Villarreal Madrid, 17, of Henderson, lost his life in a tragic shooting on Wednesday, November 26, 2025.
He was born on October 17, 2008 to Natasha Avery, mother, and Arturo Madrid, Father.
Josiah was the smile that lit up every room he walked into, a presence that brought warmth, joy, and laughter to everyone around him. Josiah was loved by many and will be greatly missed by all. Josiah had a big love for music and cared for his family very much. Josiah will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Joe and Zella Avery; maternal great grandparents, Tommie Comer and William Huffman; paternal great grandparents, Adela Perez and Marcos Madrid; and paternal great-great grandparents, Felicia Florez and Meliton Villarreal.
Josiah is survived by his mother, Natasha Avery and father, Arturo Madrid; his only brother, Tylyn Avery; sisters, Brooklynn Adams, Genesis Avery, Isabella Haygan and Kaomi Haygan; grandparents, Kimberly Avery, Bobby Avery, Gloria Madrid, and Juan Villarreal; uncle, Tyler Avery (Summer Gish); his aunt Guerthys Villarreal Madrid (Rodrigo Hernandez Leon); cousins, Natilee Avery, Payten Avery, Jace Avery (Angel Reed), Kaylyn Avery, Jacklynn Avery, Kalijah Avery, Francisco Espinosa Villarreal, Yolima Puerta, Angel Benitez, and Genesis Perez.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Wednesday, December 3 at The Bridge Henderson Church followed by a dinner and a balloon release. Colors for balloon release will be red, black and purple.
Visitation will be at the church from 12 – 4 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Pallbearers will be Jace Avery, Ty Avery, Michael Hall, Cameron Spalding, Krisshaun Saunders, Landon Watson, William McClelland, and Isiah Ray.
