Joy Diane (Smith) Speer, 64 of Henderson passed away Friday September 18, 2015 at 4:54 PM at Lucy Smith King Care Center. She was the owner of Prescription Weight Loss in Evansville and was also a CASA worker in Evansville. She was preceded in death by her parents Sandy Sylvania and Lois Ruby (Newcomb) Smith and 1 son Cory Richmond. Survivors include her husband Stan Speer 2 children: James Courtney and wife Melissa of Georgetown, Kentucky Megan Meredith and husband Nick of Reed, Kentucky 1 sister: Beth Hill of New York, New York 1 Brother: Steve Smith of Henderson 7 Grandchildren: Madison Courtney, Gunnar Courtney, Morgan Courtney, Molly Meredith, Madalie Meredith, Sam Meredith and Cooper Meredith Nieces and Nephews Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Monday September 21, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
