Joyce Caton Carmen

Joyce Caton Carmen, 70 of Henderson passed away November 6, 2015 after several years dealing with cancer and kidney failure. She was born in 1945 in Henderson to Tommie and Mary Beatrice Caton. She grew up helping her Dad in the TV and radio business. Together they built a #1 TV dealership in the Henderson Co. area. In 1986 Joyce began her next career at Redbanks as the receptionist. She loved her job and met many patients and family members that she dearly loved along with the friendly staff, she teamed up with. She retired in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Beatrice Caton and Tommie Caton, grandparents, Lydia and Joseph Halbert, Tommie Dee and Cora Caton, aunts, uncles and cousins are deeply missed. She is survived by 2 daughters: Janet D. Stone and her husband Art of Henderson Jennifer Hawkins of Corinth, Mississippi Step-Mother: Doris Grace Caton of Henderson 2 step-sisters: Marilyn Plummer of Henderson Angela Chesser of Orlando, Florida 4 grandchildren: Amanda Broshears and her husband John of Cairo Amber Caton and her husband Cory of Providence Wayne Stone of Clay, KY Emma Morton of Corinth, Mississippi 5 great grandchildren: Alyssa Caton, Eva Stone, Isabella Frye, Justise Caton and E. J. Caton. Uncle: Charles M. Halbert and his wife Darlene of Loogootee, IN Services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Henderson General Baptist Church. Bro. Chad Hensley and Bro. Dan Book will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday 2:00 PM-6:00 PM at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel and Monday 9:00 AM until service time at the church. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be John Gregory, Jeff Lawrie, Frank Chamberlain, Fred Gregory, Jerry Yates and Gary Billings. Expression of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Henderson General Baptist Church Building Fund in honor of the Caton family.
