Joyce Jean Mcconnell

Joyce Jean McConnell, 89 of Henderson passed away January 9, 2025, at Deaconess Henderson.

She was born July 12, 1935, in Providence, KY to the late Robert J. and Margie M. Woodall.

Joyce was a compassionate person who cherished her family and friends. She loved to travel and was an avid shopper. Her legacy is defined by her caring nature and the warmth she brought to those fortunate enough to be part of her life. She will be deeply missed, leaving behind a legacy of love and shared moments.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Woodall and Ronnie Woodall as well as her three daughter-in-laws, Sheila McConnell, Patty McConnell, and Lisa McConnell.

She is survived by her three sons, Trent McConnell, Kent McConnell, and Mark McConnell; six grandchildren, Matthew McConnell, Tara Hunsinger, Maggie (Alan) Garner, Amanda (Corey) Bingemer, Lacey (Tony) Bishop, and Jake (Lauren) McConnell; six great-grandchildren as well as one brother, Hobert Woodall.

A visitation will be held at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a graveside service to begin at 3:00 PM at Shady Grove Cemetery in Crittenden County with Bro. Bret Eblen and Bro. Tim Shockley officiating.
