Joyce Faye Overfield

Joyce Faye (Duff) Overfield, 73 of Henderson passed away Saturday January 19, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital. She was born in Henderson, Kentucky on February 5, 1939 to Joseph and Rose Viola Duff. She retired from Art Fare and attended Haven Pentecostal Church in Henderson, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; James R. Overfield, Sisters; Mary Wright, Bettye Clement, Shirley Baker, Frances Lykins, and Edith Willet, and her brothers; Joe Duff Jr. and Bill Duff and grandchild Amanda Gail Bowling. She is survived by her daughter: Diana Burdon of Henderson 3 Grandchildren: Jennifer McCormick and husband Howie Heather Bowling Sybil Burdon 4 Great Grandchildren: Miauna Bowling, Pate McCormick, Raylee McCormick, Brooklynn Burdon Several Nieces and nephews Services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday January 22, 2013 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Bro. Phil Waggoner will officiate. Visitation will be Monday 5-8PM and Tuesday 9:00 AM until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson. Pallbearers will be Larry Baker, Larry Baker Jr., Kenny Clement, Wayne Clement, Jeff Baker and Billy Joe Duff. Honorary pallbearers will be Pate McCormick and Miauna Bowling. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Diabetes Coalition.
