Juanita Jean (Raber) Lane, 82 of Henderson died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Henderson Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 6, 1931 in Henderson to Levi and Lelia (Mounds) Raber. Juanita was a member of Airline Baptist Church and enjoyed needlepoint. She was preceded in death by her parents Lelia and Levi Raber, husband Joel P. Lane, Sr., one son Roger Dale Rice, 2 brothers; Richard Raber and George Raber and 1 sister Frances Pearce. She is survived by 4 children: Ruth Willis and husband Frances of Indianapolis Cindy Weiner Phillips and husband Ed of Henderson Terry Rice and wife Peggy of TN Angela Wyne and husband Tony of Henderson 4 step daughters 1 step son 4 sisters: Olive Polley of Newburgh Anne Lewis of Newport News, VA Bea Goldsberry of Henderson Janice Mossman of Cadiz, KY 1 brother: Carl Raber of Phoenix, AZ 1 granddaughter: Stephanie Weiner of Henderson Several step grandchildren Step great grandchildren Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday October 2 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Dr. Nathan Whisnant will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday and 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
