Juanita May Linney

Juanita May (Flickner) Linney, 83 of Henderson, KY passed away at 12:20 PM Tuesday July 12, 2011 at her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother and a devoted wife. She was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church in Henderson, KY. She had been active with Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts thu the years as a leader. She had also taught ceramics. She was born in Los Angeles, CA on January 20, 1928 to the late Ilor and Jenny Lee Flickner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Eugene K. Linney, Jr, (May 7, 2011), her daughter; Patricia Ann Linney Anderson, 3 Brothers; Billy, Frank and Ilor, Jr. Flickner. She is survived by her 4 children; Eugene "E.K." and wife Cynthia Linney III of Henderson, KY John Richard Linney of Henderson, KY Pamela and husband Bruce Eblen of Henderson, KY Jacky and husband Kendel Bryan of Henderson, KY 2 sisters; Mary Helen Jones of Corydon, IN Betty Lou Holbert of Michigan 7 Grandchildren; Jeremy and wife Holly Linney, Amber Anderson, John and wife Katie Linney, Hans Schmidt, Patty Schmidt, Page Schmidt, Dustin and wife Cydney Laubner. 6 Great grandchildren Services will be at 11:00 AM Friday July 15, 2011 at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Hollis Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 and Friday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
