Judith "Judy" Faye Ewing

Judith “Judy” H. Ewing, 91, of Spottsville, KY, passed away Monday, December 16, 2024, at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.

Judy was born in Henderson, KY on September 18, 1933, to the late Millard and Pearl Horn. She worked for General Electric. Judy enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, and the outdoors. She was a member of Spottsville Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Ewing; brother, Sonny Horn; sisters, Margaret Horn, and Helen Saalwaechter; and great-grandson, Lucas Hutson Ewing.

Judy is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ewing and a son, Ricky Ewing (Mavis); five grandchildren, Tresia Critser (Kenny), Tom Goins, Tammy Mabe (Sammy), Ricky Ewing II (Kelli), Melanie Brown (Jeff); six great-grandchildren, Lindsey Norwood (Matt), Riley Williams (Zach), Sophia Dean, Temprance Dean, Annalee Ewing, Blaine Ewing; two great-great-grandchildren, Preston Williams, Mabe Williams; and two step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM, at Tomblinson Funeral Home, Henderson Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Reed, KY.

Visitation will be Friday, December 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM until service time.

Pallbearers are Tommy Goins, Ricky Ewing, Jeff Brown, Sammy Mabe, Kenny Critser, and William Powell. The honorary bearer is Blane Ewing.
