Judson Gale Melton

Judson G. Melton, 81 of Earlington passed away at Deaconess Hospice, Evansville on Sunday September 15, 2013. He was born on June 10, 1932 in Henderson, KY. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and was retired from the Hopkins County Board of Education He is proceeded in death by his mother and father, the late Granville and Bessie Melton, and one son, Barry Melton. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Melton of Earlington, his daugher Lisa Melton of Madisonville, his sister Dean Hopper of Dawson Springs, two brothers Lonnie Melton of Central City and James Melton of Greenville, 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Wednesday September 18, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Earlington General Baptist Church in Earlington. Brother Alan Menser will be officiating. Burial will be in Flat Creek Cemetery in Mortans Gap. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at Earlington General Baptist Church on Sebree Street in Earlington.
