Juliana Maria Farmer was born September 20, 1977 to Monessa K. Farmer and Larry Shelton. She departed this life on April 10, 2023.
At an early age she professed Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was a member of the Greater Norris Chapel Baptist Church.
Juliana was a graduate of Henderson County High School and attended Ivy Tech Community College. She worked at Old National Bank and Liberty Finance Company of Evansville, IN and recently was offered the opportunity to return to Old National Bank in Louisville, KY. She had been there exactly two weeks and one day.. She loved the job and her co-workers. Juliana had a great personality and drew people to her with her warmth and beautiful smile.
Juliana loved God, her family, friends, traveling and life in general. We are and will become better people because “J” was here.
She was preceded in death by her father Larry Shelton, Grandmother Loretta Williams, Aunts Sharon Harvey and Michelle Williams.
She leaves to mourn and cherish her memories Mother Monessa Brooks Bard (Cecil Lee), three children A’lia Chambers of Louisville, Ky, JYeon Christopher Chambers(Jessi) and Damarius Dixon of Henderson, KY. Four grandchildren Javen, Kendrick, Sayven, and Treylin of Louisville, Ky, four sisters Monica Farmer Coates (Maurice), Stephanie Farmer of Henderson, KY, Tonisha Farmer of St. Louis, MO, and Delanie Hairlson of Henderson, KY, Aunt Vicki Brooks-Scott, Uncle Michael Williams, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Three special childhoods friends Yvonne Hancock, Ka’Toya Finley, and Teresa Hawes, and her traveling buddy April Hightower.
Visitation will be at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson Friday, April 21, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday April 22, 2023 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church at 11:00 a.m.
Flower bearers will be Tonisha Farmer, Yvonne Hancock, Brentney Owsley, Teresa Hawes, Aleka Hawes, Kelly Hall, Terri Smith, and Andrea Robinson.
Pallbearers will Kyeon Coates, Bill Hancock, Yorel Petrie, Marcus Dixon, Aaron Terrill, and KeVontae Hairlson.
