Julianne Kay McKay

Julianne Kay McKay, 49, of Henderson, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Deaconess Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana, following a long battle with kidney disease.

Julianne was born in Carbondale, Illinois, to Simon "Phil" and Priscilla (Sutton) Rowland.

Julianne was an artist who found joy in expressing herself creatively. Above all else, she was a devoted mother who loved her daughters deeply and cherished the time she shared with them. Her daughters were the center of her world, and the love she had for them will continue to live on through them.

In addition to her parents, Julianne is survived by her daughters, Ashlee McKay and Charlee McKay; her brothers, Patrick Rowland (Mandy) and Michael Rowland (Joni); nieces, Alivia Dallman (Eric), Claire Gerke (Bradey), Flora Elizabeth Rowland, and Virginia Ann Rowland; nephew, Braxton Rowland; great-niece, Henley Dallman; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
