Julie Sigler

Julie Sigler, 72, of Henderson, KY, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, May 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of St. Anthony’s Hospice.

Born in Nashville, Tennessee, Julie was the daughter of the late Brady and Bobbie Jo (Lee) Dorris. She was a devoted member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church.

Julie found joy in life’s simple pleasures—birdwatching, beach trips, and cheering on her favorite teams, the UK Wildcats and Chicago Bears. She was known for her warm hugs, sense of humor, love of family and friends, and her enjoyment of good food and a cold beer.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Julie is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Steve Sigler; her daughter, Tiffany Berrong; her siblings, Sam Dorris (Sharon), Jeff Dorris (Kathy), and Sherri Hill; her grandchildren, Lillian Buchanan (Kendall Hilton) and Brady Buchanan; and her soon-to-arrive great-grandson, Kaire Hilton.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson, with a prayer service at 7:00 PM.
