June Frances Shelton

June Frances Shelton, 89 of Henderson passed away July 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born May 25, 1927 in Henderson, KY to Charles and Ollie (Presley) Holmes. She was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Henderson and had formerly worked in housekeeping at Redbanks Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; James D. Shelton, daughter; Lola Gatewood, 2 sons; Cosby Shelton and James W. Shelton, grandson; Bobby Graham, 2 granddaughters; Lisa Fortune and Susan Denham. She is survived by 5 children; Wanda Graham of Smyrna, TN, Barbara Dunn of Zion, KY, Cecil Shelton of Henderson, Judy Wilson of Smith Mills and Brian Shelton of Henderson, 23 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren and 53 great-great grandchildren. Services will be Thursday August 4, 2016 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson at 2:00PM with Randy Jones officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00PM and Thursday 10:00AM until service time. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
